Work At Home! Affiliate Home Businesses For Stay At Home Mom

Work at home? Don't feel like you are alone in this decision. There is a Mom trying to make these decisions every minute.

Should I quit my job and stay home with my child?

What can I do at home to make an income to help pay the bills?

Work at home? Affiliate? Affiliate Home Business? I can relate to the way you are feeling. My grandson stayed sick from the time he was put in daycare at six weeks old until his parents finally decided they had to make the sacrifice for one of them to stay home with him.

The problem was not that they did not want to stay home with Brody. The real problem was they had created a life style for themselves that required a certain amount of income generated by both jobs. If one quit a job, that meant half as much income, which meant they would have half as much money to pay the bills. They had bought a home just a year prior to Brody's birth. They each drove new cars. They both had student loans to repay.

What Do I Do?

Here is where I can help.

Working at Home, in an Affiliate Home Business?? Not a bad idea. What would you do working at home? What is an affiliate home business? We will cover that shortly. First, let's do some thinking.......

Take a pad, pencil and find a quiet corner. Think about what you do when you are at home. Make a list of everything (even the simple things) you do. If you walk over to visit with the neighbor, include that on your list, along with what you did and talked about with your neighbor.

Keep adding to your list for a couple of days or more; maybe a week.

From that list, make another list of the action items...example - birthday party, visits to the children's school for a pageant. Anything of that nature. Do you attend Recipe Swaps? Does your church have Craft Shows? Do you volunteer for anything at Church or School? How about your girlfriends? What are they into? Affiliates home businesses?

From this second list, what are the things you enjoy doing? Pretend you are doing a write up for the newspaper about your favorite subject - maybe painting a family room. Describe each step you had to take to complete the make-over of the family room. Include the reason you chose the family room to paint.

Remember that Thanksgiving Pageant at school? You made all the turkey hats for the kids to wear. VERY INNOVATIVE! WHAT AN IMAGINATION!

Apply that imagination and come up with something, like.....planning Birthday Parties for Children. I know lots of Mom's who would like to write out a check to someone to plan a Birthday Party from start to finish.
